Jurgen Klopp playfully suggested that young full-back Conor Bradley might “fall asleep in the dressing room” following Liverpool’s 2-1 triumph against Fulham.
Bradley Shines in Liverpool Win
The 20-year-old delivered an impressive performance as Liverpool staged a comeback to secure victory in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg at Anfield. Klopp expressed his delight with Bradley’s display and commended the player’s character.
“He will probably fall asleep in the dressing room,” Klopp quipped to Sky Sports. “Wonderful, what a boy, what a character. Exceptional. What a boy. Wonderful character, a real talent, top potential. He is in the right team, everyone loves him and respects him and wants him to succeed.”
Having made his senior debut for Liverpool last season, Bradley faced an initial setback in the current campaign due to injury. However, since returning to action in November, he has featured in five games, including the recent FA Cup victory against Arsenal.
What Lies Ahead for Conor Bradley?
Despite accumulating nine first-team appearances for Liverpool, Bradley is still anticipating his Premier League debut. He will have to wait until Liverpool’s next fixture on January 21, when they face Bournemouth, for a potential opportunity in the top flight.
